Assistant Executive Director Program Services
Chanda Hill oversees a continuum of early childhood programs: Nurse-Family Partnership, The Parent-Child Home Program, Early Head Start, Early Childhood Education Centers and Family Child Care Networks. She monitors administration, operations and compliance. She leads the development of early childhood program strategies, oversees the execution of initiatives and directs the formulation and implementation of policies.
Prior to joining SCO, she worked as Early Childhood Services Coordinator at Grand Street Settlement for two years, managing Daycare, Head Start and Early Head Start where her focus was on improving program quality, implementing curriculum and ensuring program compliance. Chanda’s other key roles in early childhood programming have included Interim Director of Education at Lois Bronz Children’s Center, Director of Child Care Services at Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service and as Assistant Principal at Chesterbrook Academy at Birkdale, North Carolina.
Chanda will earn a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership from University of Phoenix in May 2014. She holds Bachelors and a Masters of Education in Child and Family Development from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
