Founded in 1999 by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, Bear’s Golf Club is frequented by big names like Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, and Ernie Els. Jupiter, FL is well-known throughout the golf community for its beautiful yet challenging courses.
Situated on 300 acres in Southampton, Sebonack was carved out of land which seemed to be destined to become a golf course. Designers Jack Nicklaus & Tom Doak used the natural contours and features of the land to create a unique look.

The Creek is one of Long Island’s finest golf courses. This 18-hole challenging and prestigious course features 6,454 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 71.5 and it has a slope rating of 130. Like the Piping Rock Club, the course was designed by Seth Raynor/Charles B. Mac Donald.
The Dye Preserve provides a private golf retreat for those who share a love for the game and a deep respect for golf’s finest traditions. Designed by Charles B. MacDonald, the Piping Rock golf course opened in 1912. This 18-hole breathtaking course features 6,723 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Its rating is 73 and it has a slope rating of 134.
Meadow Brook Club
Designed by Dick Wilson, The Meadow Brook Club is a true championship course that has hosted the Senior Tour for sixteen years. This beautiful club is located on 270 acres on rolling Long Island topography.
Winged Foot Golf Club
Winged Foot Golf Club was founded in 1921, the course architect is A. W. Tillinghast. The West Course is a par 72 and has a course rating of 75.7 and a slope of 141. The East Course is a par 72 measuring and has a course rating of 73.9 and a slope of 141.
Long, tight, and relatively flat, with trees lining all 18 fairways, the Stanwich course is truly an imposing test of golf. Perhaps its most memorable features are the Gordon-style greens, the fastest in the Met Area, canted severely from back to front and bunkered tenaciously at their front corners, and the lakes and streams which come into play on eight holes. Stanwich hosted the Met Open for the first time in 1972 and again 1996.
Manhattan Woods Golf Club
West Nyack, NY
Overlooking the New York City skyline, Manhattan Woods Golf Club offers one of the finest private 18-hole designs in New York State. Designed by Gary Player, hills and wetlands are defining features of this parkland-style course, along with thick fescue grasses bordering the fairways.
The 18-hole course at Siwanoy Country Club Facility in Bronxville, NY features 6,359 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 71.4 and has a slope rating of 136 on Bent grass.
Southampton is a great 18 hole regulation course on the East End of Long Island. From the longest tees, it offers 6,287 yards of golf for a par of 70. The course, designed by Seth Raynor, opened in 1925. The course rating is 71.3 with a slope rating of 129.

Wheatley Hills Golf Club was organized in 1913 and consists of 110 acres on the A.H. Titus Homestead. Keegan Hansen Bradley, winner of three tour events, most notably the 2011 PGA Championship, is a member.
Plandome is perhaps the most picturesque golf course in Nassau County. Its first hole may well be the toughest opening hole in the entire Met Area. Architect Orrin Smith successfully met the challenge of retaining many of the trees and plantings that had made the site so attractive to the original buyers; yet fit eighteen holes into the 107-acre site. The course is a par 71.
Nassau Country Club

Incorporated in 1896 as the Queens County Golf Club, Nassau Country Clubs contribution to the lore and history of golf are perhaps unrivaled. The Nassau bet, the Goat Tournament and Bobby Jones Calamity Jane putter all have their origin at Nassau. While Nassau has hosted many local and national Championships, it will host next years United States Women’s Amateur Championship exactly 100 years from the 1914 Championship. A par 70 layout, the greens have recently undergone a complete renovation. One of long Islands golf treasures, Nassau Country Club should not be missed.
