CFL 13th Annual Sister Mary Geraldine Symposium

Held on Wednesday, March 6th at Recess in Brooklyn, Center for Family Life hosted their 13th Annual Sister Mary Geraldine Symposium. The Symposium engaged service providers and advocates in a conversation about Sanctuary Families: Using Popular Education as a Social Justice Tool. This event featured the unveiling of a conversation guide created in partnership with the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP), which helps parents at risk for immigration detention or deportation navigate difficult discussions regarding family separation.
