SCO’s Kim Thomas and Kim Bargfrede-Keating Receive Praesidium Guardian Certification

SCO Family of Services is proud to announce Kim Thomas and Kim Bargfrede-Keating as Certified Praesidium Guardians. Kim Thomas is Vice President of Family Permanency & Support Services and Kim Bargfrede-Keating is Vice President of Residential & Youth Justice Services at SCO, and they participated in the Praesidium Guardian Certification workshop in April 2026.

A Certified Praesidium Guardian (CPG) is a professional trained and certified by Praesidium to implement, manage, and oversee abuse prevention strategies within organizations. They are experts in identifying risks, establishing safety policies, and fostering a culture of safety for vulnerable populations, holding a three-year renewable designation.

Congratulations to Kim Thomas and Kim Bargfrede-Keating on becoming Certified Praesidium Guardians, and thank you for all you do to protect those under SCO’s care!
