Youth Workforce Initiative

The Youth Workforce Initiative (YWI) is a NYC career development program that prepares young adults, ages 16-24, for today’s professional landscape through a five-day, in-person job and career readiness workshop held at SCO’s Brooklyn Youth Center.

The program removes barriers like housing instability while delivering work readiness training. YWI strengthens employer pipelines and activates hiring partnerships, creating equitable access to careers for young adults.
