Brownsville Women Entrepreneurs Hold First Annual Market Place

Our first ever Brownsville Women Entrepreneurs Market Place was a success! More than 30 women representing a variety of local businesses were on hand to showcase their products and services to a wider audience, learn how other businesses market themselves and network with other entrepreneurs. The Market Place was the culminating event to the workshop series providing practical information on a variety of topics such as marketing, personal vs. business credit, financing and more. The series will resume in January. SCO Brownsville Community Coordinator Cathy Joseph has been working with community businesses and organizations to create opportunities like this for local residents.
