SCO’s Christina Calabrese Inducted in the 2020 Women in Human Services Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Christina Calabrese, Vice President, Center for Professional Development, on being inducted into the Women in Human Services Hall of Fame. March is Women’s History Month and this month, Strong Nonprofits for a Better New York is honoring women who provide critical services across New York.

Christina joined the SCO family in 2013 as Director of Clinical Training and Staff Development and was soon promoted to CPD Director before being named VP in 2017. She currently oversees the training and professional development needs of SCO’s diverse employee base.

As Vice President, Center for Professional Development, Christina is responsible for developing methods to build capacity and competency of staff; create professional development opportunities; ensure compliance with training requirements of regulatory agencies, and coordinate a training council.

Christina has a bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, earned her master’s degree from Florida School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, and is completing her dissertation toward a doctorate in Psychology also from Florida School of Professional Psychology.
