Jetson Electric Visits FirstStepNYC to Help “Read for the Record”

November 5, 2018 / SCO News

Our friends from Jetson Electric paid a visit to our FirstStepNYC Early Childhood Center in Brownsville, Brooklyn this morning to read the children’s book “Maybe Something Beautiful” to our kids. The reading and related activities that followed were part of Jumpstart’s “Read for the Record”, an annual childhood literacy event that brings together millions of people each year in classrooms, libraries, community centers and homes across the country by reading the same book simultaneously. Thank you, Jetson Electric, for sharing your time and enthusiasm with our kids…and for making a few new friends in the process!
