Ribbon Cutting for Two Therapy Rooms Named in Honor of the Foundation’s Transformative Gift on SCO’s Madonna Heights Campus

Dix Hills, NY – SCO Family of Services, a leading provider of essential human services in NYC and Long Island, celebrated a $100,000 gift from The Clark Gillies Foundation. The occasion was marked with a special ribbon cutting and dedication at its outpatient mental health clinic located on the Madonna Heights campus in Dix Hills, on August 20, 2025.

In recognition of this transformative contribution, SCO named two therapy rooms in the Madonna Heights Family Service Clinic in honor of the Foundation: The Clark Gillies Foundation Family Therapy Room and The Clark Gillies Foundation Child Therapy Room. These spaces will serve as safe, supportive environments for families and children to heal, grow, and thrive.

“This extraordinary gift from The Clark Gillies Foundation is a testament to their unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children and families,” said Suzette Gordon, President & CEO of SCO Family of Services. “Their support will directly enhance the therapeutic services we provide and ensure that our clients have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed.”

“The Clark Gillies Foundation is proud to support SCO Family of Services in creating safe, supportive spaces for children and families. These therapy rooms will provide critical resources for healing and growth, and we know Clark would be so proud to see the difference they will make in people’s lives,” said Emily Tyree Collins, Executive Director of The Clark Gillies Foundation.

The donation will fund essential furnishings, therapeutic tools, and technology to support play, art, and music therapies. The gift reflects the Foundation’s long-term investment in the well-being of the community and aligns with its mission to improve the quality of life for children in need.
