SCO Family of Services Raises Record $200,000 at Madonna Heights Golf Classic

June 24, 2022 / Madonna Heights News

DIX HILLS, NY – Over 170 supporters came out for SCO Family of Services’ Madonna Heights Golf Classic at the Woodside Club in Muttontown, Long Island. This year’s event raised a record $200,000 to support the vital work of Madonna Heights to teach, strengthen, and empower young and adult women to heal from trauma.

The dinner program featured an inspiring speech by Kelly Brown, a former resident of Madonna Heights’ Morning Star program for women in recovery. Kelly shared her story of alcohol and drug addiction that began in her early teens and how the Morning Star program reunited her with her son and helped her get her life on track.

SCO honored High Point Engineering, a multi-disciplined engineering and architectural firm focused on design and municipal agency approval procurement for commercial and industrial development projects. Co-owners Chris Tartaglia and Larry O’Brien accepted the award.

“SCO Family of Services is grateful to have the support of High Point Engineering. Their generosity has been matched by their enthusiasm for the work we do, and we look forward to growing our partnership in the future,” said Keith Little, President and CEO of SCO Family of Services. “We’d also like to thank our sponsors and friends who have been supporting this event for over 40 years. Their unwavering commitment to the women and girls we help is truly inspirational.”
