SCO Family of Services Renews Partnership with Good+Foundation

SCO Family of Services is proud to announce that three of our programs, Nurse-Family Partnership, Early Head Start, and the Fathers’ Program, have been accepted as 2023 grantee partners of Good+Foundation.
Founded in 2001, Good+Foundation (formerly Baby Buggy) is a leading national non-profit that works to dismantle multigenerational poverty by pairing tangible goods with innovative services for low-income fathers, mothers, and caregivers, creating an upward trajectory for the whole family. With an early focus on mothers and children, Good+ expanded programming in 2010 to strengthen support for non-custodial and formerly incarcerated fathers to address one of the root causes of cyclical poverty: father absence.
Good+Foundation distributes approximately $7M in essential children’s goods—such as cribs, car seats and diapers—each year. As a partner, SCO has been the recipient of a variety of these kinds of items from Good+.
Partnerships with Good+Foundation include access to convenings of other anti-poverty organizations in their network; training and technical assistance from their staff and Training Academy on topics such as trauma-informed care, father engagement, and kinship care; and invitations for clients to fun family outings, such as baseball games, the zoo, and dance performances.
Good+Foundation also provides financial microgrants to partners when funding is available. Since 2020, SCO has received several microgrants from Good+Foundation and its partners, such as Theraflu, for holidays, emergency needs, and COVID-19 relief.
SCO is excited to continue our collaborative partnership with Good+Foundation.
