SCO Resident Strikes Gold at the Special Olympics!

Hooray for our Gold Medalist! We’re proud to announce that Robert, a resident of one of our Individualized Residential Alternatives, won a gold medal in hockey with his team, the Manhattan Flames, in the recent 2022 Special Olympics tournament held in Syracuse, NY.
In addition to the team medal, Robert received several other gold medals AND the MVP trophy!
Robert is an avid hockey player who looks forward to practicing and playing with his teammates. The first call he made after winning these awards was to his mother to share the wonderful news, then to his friends and supporters here at SCO. Congratulations, Robert! We’re so proud of your accomplishments!
