SCO’s Harriet Downer Honored at Glen Cove Black History Month Celebration

Congratulations to SCO’s Harriet Downer, Accounts Payable Manager, on being honored at Glen Cove’s 4th Annual Black History Month Celebration! Harriet, along with fellow honorees Rev. Dr. Craig JJ. Wright, Sheree Collins and Damon Garner, were recognized for the profound impact they have made in the community.

Hosted by former Glen Cove Councilman Roderick Watson and Damary Mercado, the evening included dinner, dancing, raffles, performances by Nikki Nicole and Glen Dance, and a poem recital by Victoria Crosby.

The event was held February 8th at the Knights of Columbus in Glen Cove.
