SCO Family of Services President and CEO, Suzette Gordon, has been named a Power Woman of Queens, and Career Readiness Specialist, Shamise Harvin, has been named a Power Woman Rising.

Each year, Schneps Media recognizes extraordinary women who make Queens a thriving place to work, live and do business.

Suzette Gordon is credited with reimagining and strengthening SCO’s leadership team, improving program optimization, and ensuring cultural alignment with SCO’s mission, vision, and values. Suzette brings more than 20 years of legal, government, and non-profit experience in both the private and public sectors.

With a background in foster care alongside her younger brother, Shamise brings firsthand experience to her role, enabling her to connect with the individuals she assists.

Suzette and Shamise, along with all of the honorees, were presented with their awards at a special banquet held at the Inn on the Park on February 29th.
