The two partners teamed up to hold a free Book Giveaway on June 12th at the Gregory Jackson Center in Brownsville. Local families were invited to select 10 books appropriate for all ages – babies, toddlers, children, teens, and adults. Over 350 books were distributed in two hours! The inaugural Book Giveaway was such a hit, the two agencies plan to join forces again for their second Book Giveaway on September 18th. Stay tuned!
