A Place to Call “Home”

Jayla, a former youth in SCO’s Foster Care program, recently moved into her first apartment. Hearts to Homes provided home goods to help make her transition easier. Hearts to Homes provides home furnishings and essentials to newly independent young adults who have just aged out of foster care.

Jayla wrote them a “Thank You” note in appreciation:

“Hello, this is Jayla thanking you guys at Hearts to Homes for all the help you guys have given me. The amount of necessities I was given made moving in much easier so that I can focus on my rent and other responsibilities without lacking basics. I’m enjoying fixing up the place and I was very surprised to see how much you guys gave out to me, you definitely made a huge difference in my home, and I can’t thank you guys enough for that.” ❤️
