SCO Family of Services offers both Site-Based and Without Walls Day Habilitation programs, along with a range of community support services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These programs focus on building essential life skills that empower individuals to live as independently as possible.

Day Habilitation
Program Without Walls
A community-based program offering small, person-centered groups for individuals with greater independence, combining volunteer work, social engagement, and real-world experiences throughout Nassau, Suffolk, and the Bronx.
Program Without Walls – Hub-Based
A hybrid program that blends on-site skill-building with community outings, featuring hands-on learning, volunteer opportunities, and monthly cooking classes in a fully equipped kitchen.
The Center – Site-Based
A welcoming, center-based program in Ronkonkoma offering group activities, personalized learning plans, and community integration to support social and independent living skills.
Integrated Community Supports
Drop-In Lounge
A social space for adults with I/DD to enjoy art, music, games, and connect with peers in a relaxed setting. It is ideal for those who require minimal supervision and have their own transportation.
Community Habilitation
A personalized program that helps individuals living in non-certified settings on Long Island build everyday skills to manage their homes and actively participate in their communities.
Individualized Support Service Grants
A grant program that supplements wages for individuals with I/DD so they can live independently in their own apartments while remaining eligible for other support services.
Family Care
This program places individuals with developmental disabilities into private homes, where they receive compassionate care, meaningful connection, and a stable home life. It’s designed to provide personalized, person-centered support while equipping provider families with ongoing guidance and resources.
