Julie is a dedicated employee always willing to lend support to staff and to ensure that our program runs smoothly. Her outstanding work ethic and compassion for the clients in our care goes far beyond her job duties and description.

Julie goes the extra mile in her role as Senior Child Care Worker. She has proven to be a valuable worker and is truly deserving of recognition for her contributions. Julie is caring, responsible, professional, and committed to making the lives of others better.

Karen runs the playroom at our Bethany program. She takes initiative and is always willing to lend a hand with whatever is going on.

Karen is loving and nurturing to all the children in her care. Every day she comes to work with a cheerful outlook that is contagious throughout the program.

Tyrique Davis has demonstrated significant growth and commitment over the past year. He has become increasingly motivated, takes greater initiative in his daily responsibilities, and maintains a positive rapport with residents.

Tyrique has also become more involved in program activities, actively engaging with residents and contributing to a positive and supportive environment. His willingness to participate, encourage youth involvement, and support program initiatives has strengthened the sense of community within the residence.

Tyrique’s dedication to self-improvement, positive attitude, and resident engagement have made him a valuable member of the team and a positive influence within the program.

Davial Rowe has stepped into his role as Senior Child Care Worker with enthusiasm, dedication, and a genuine commitment to the youth we serve. He consistently seeks opportunities to learn and grow while effectively applying new knowledge in his work.

Davial has earned the trust and respect of both his peers and residents through his professionalism, reliability, and positive attitude. He excels at helping residents overcome adversity by encouraging resilience, providing consistent support, and helping them recognize their strengths.

Davial’s ability to guide young people through difficult circumstances while maintaining high expectations has made a lasting impact on both the residents and the program.

Valerie Stewart is a Senior Child Care Worker and an invaluable member of the team. She is highly knowledgeable about SCO policies and procedures, demonstrates empathy toward residents, and builds positive relationships with both youth and staff.

Valerie helps make the program feel like a home by preparing meals that reflect the cultures and backgrounds of our youth, creating a sense of comfort, connection, and belonging. She consistently motivates residents to do better, encouraging them to reach their goals and recognize their potential.

Valerie also takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment by decorating the program for different seasons, holidays, and special occasions, helping residents celebrate important moments and feel a sense of normalcy and community. In addition, she is instrumental in onboarding and supporting new staff, teaching them the ropes, sharing her extensive knowledge, and ensuring they are set up for success.

Her experience, compassion, creativity, and willingness to support both residents and colleagues make Valerie a trusted resource and a valued member of the LIC team.

Charlene Williams is amazing! She works hard and takes initiative each and every day. She doesn’t need to be asked to do something, she just jumps in wherever needed.

Charlene is on top of all her training requirements and she assists with preparing the chores, allowance, census, breakfast/lunch sheet and more. She always keeps management and staff in the loop of everything that’s going on in the residence.
