Child Care Workers provide a structured, nurturing environment to youth in care, supporting their social and emotional needs.

There are currently multiple Child Care Worker opportunities throughout Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Nassau and Suffolk.

Responsibilities include

  • Supervises individual and group activities such as trips, sporting events, crafts, etc.
  • Attends to the educational/ vocational, health and mental health, etc.
  • Models positive behavior at all times while confronting negative behavior.
  • Commits to the mission of the program by supporting the creation of a safe, orderly, and caring environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience working with children or adolescents
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
