For more than 130 years, SCO has delivered programs and services to New York’s most under-resourced communities, offering long-term, life-changing results. Through our vast network of programs, we offer a continuum of care and services that gets young children off to a good start, launches youth into adulthood, stabilizes and strengthens families, and unlocks potential for children and adults with special needs.

    SCO Beacon at MS 35

    After school, summer camp, and community programming are offered at SCO’s Beacon Center at MS 35. Activities include academic enrichment, homework assistance, and weekly instruction in creative/visual arts, performing arts, STEM, literacy, and recreation.

    A New York State certified special education school that serves adolescents and young adults who live at our Ottilie Residential Treatment Facility or are referred by their school districts.
