Queens, NY Datwon Thomas, executive editor of Vibe Magazine, came to speak with the young people at our Close to Home residence in Queens. They discussed different genres of music and he shared his trials and tribulations of everything from being an intern to starting his own magazine to becoming the executive editor of Vibe. Datwon inspired our youth, showing them that anything is possible with hard work and determination.
