A Vibrant Brownsville
Brownsville, Brooklyn is a unique and evolving neighborhood; and SCO is proud to be a member of this vibrant community for over three decades. Our breadth of programs and services help children, teens, and families build a strong foundation for the future. We partner with local residents and providers to ensure access to the full mix of services while building provider networks to meet the diverse needs of the community.
Our resources include Early Childhood Development programs offering home visiting and center-based programs; our Fathers’ Program that reconnects dads with their children and deepens bonds; East Brooklyn Community High School for under-credited students; Residential Programs for young adults who are homeless, in foster care, or identify as LGBTQ; Family Support Services to stabilize and strengthen families; and After School programs that offer academic enrichment, literacy and recreation, as well as team-building, conflict resolution and social learning activities.
