Close to Home Youth Get Cookin’

July 18, 2018 / SCO News

Queens, NY  Bruschetta and Chicken Satay were among the culinary delights prepared by the young men in our Queens Close to Home program at a tasting they organized for family and staff. It was a celebration of the cooking talents they had honed in their weekly culinary class led by C2H youth specialist Naji Peters. In addition to learning their way around a stove, they learned about table etiquette, converting measurements and reading recipes. They even created their own individual recipe books!
