Stephen J. Tyree
Vice Chair
Stephen J. Tyree joined the SCO Board of Directors in 2007. He serves as Chair of the QI & Risk Management Committee and as Co-Chair of the Development/Communications Committee.
Stephen is President of Metro Environmental Services in Farmingdale, NY. MES is a service company providing services for the fueling industry.
He previously was President for 29 years of The Tyree Company, where he oversaw the performance of all business units, business development groups and critical support functions of operations, and was also responsible for strategic planning and the overall profitability, functions and development of the corporate business plan. Stephen holds a B.A. degree in English Literature and Journalism from Lynchburg College, and an A.A.S. degree in Liberal Sciences from Dean College. His professional affiliations include the American Management Association, the National Ground Water Association, the New York State Transportation Association as well as New York State School Facilities Association.
