Tiffany Johnson

Board Member

Tiffany Johnson was appointed to the SCO Family of Services Board of Directors in December 2024 as its parent representative. She brings a unique voice and a wealth of knowledge and experience to the SCO Board as both an SCO foster parent and as a parent and foster parent of two young girls enrolled in the Early Head Start program through SCO’s FirstStepNYC Early Childhood Education Center.

Tiffany became a foster parent with her husband in 2017, when they cared for young siblings. Since then, they have fostered several children on a long-term basis. After the birth of their daughter, they began fostering a little girl the same age, and the two girls (now age 2), have developed a wonderful relationship – learning, playing and growing up together.

Tiffany is an engaged parent at FirstStepNYC. She is a member of FirstStep’s Policy Council, she attends the monthly Parent Committee meetings, and she is actively involved in family events and activities the center provides.

Tiffany is a Home Health Aide and is also working towards an associate degree at the University of Arkansas Grantham. She wants to pursue a career as a registered nurse so she can apply her passion for helping children.
