Jennifer Mercedes

Vice President, Facilities and Business Operations

Jennifer Mercedes is SCO’s Vice President of Facilities and Business Operations. In this role, Jennifer leads the management of SCO’s complex portfolio of residential and commercial properties across New York City and Long Island. She oversees capital project delivery, property acquisitions and leasing, and ensures our facilities are optimized, safe, and aligned with SCO’s mission and operational goals. Jennifer also oversees building and liability insurance, environmental safety, disaster preparedness, fleet operations, and food service contract management.

A seasoned leader with over a decade of experience managing multi-site real estate portfolios, Jennifer most recently served as Property Manager at Extell Development/Extell Management Services, overseeing building operations for a 700+ unit residential and commercial portfolio. She has deep expertise in capital planning, facilities maintenance, regulatory compliance, and vendor management.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University and served in the United States Army.
