Jennifer Mercedes
Vice President, Facilities and Business Operations
Jennifer Mercedes is SCO’s Vice President of Facilities and Business Operations. In this role, Jennifer provides strategic leadership for SCO’s diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties across New York City and Long Island. She oversees capital project delivery, property acquisitions and leasing, and ensures our facilities are optimized, safe, and aligned with SCO’s mission and operational goals. Jennifer also oversees building and liability insurance, environmental safety, disaster preparedness, fleet operations, and food service contract management.
A seasoned leader with over a decade of experience managing multi-site real estate portfolios, Jennifer joined SCO after working on the property management team at Extell Development/Extell Management Services. In that role, she supported building operations across a large residential and commercial portfolio. Her background includes extensive experience in capital planning, infrastructure management, regulatory compliance, and and vendor oversight.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University. Following her university studies, she served in the United States Army. She also holds real estate licenses in both New York and New Jersey.
