Kimberly Bargfrede
Vice President, Residential and Youth Justice Services
Kimberly Bargfrede was appointed Vice President, Residential and Youth Justice Services in 2024, managing a portfolio of programs that serve adolescents, young adults, and their families. Kim oversees group living for young mothers, LGBTQ youth, court-involved youth, youth with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs, evidence-based preventive services for adolescents and their families, and supportive housing for young adults.
A valued member of the SCO team for the past 20 years, Kim started her career at SCO as Program Director of Residential and Youth Justice Services, with direct oversight of nine agency operated boarding homes and Close to Home programs for youth with developmental disabilities. Over the years, she has taken on numerous roles of increased responsibility. Most recently, Kim held the role of Divisional Director of Residential and Youth Justice Services.
Kim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with certifications in Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Addictions. She is a graduate of Adelphi University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Social Welfare and a Master of Social Work.
